Departing HELiPROs Te Puia heliport experience the thrill of a helicopter flight taking in some of this regions stunning Lakes and Thermal reserves. Fly directly to White Island where you will land and explore the harsh acidic environment where virtually no vegetation grows. Walk amongst the steam and lush beds of yellow and white sulphur crystals. You will then be flown over the crater of the dormant Mount Tarawera on route to the remote landing location only accessible by helicopter - down the Kaituna River. This is where your Sledging adventure will begin.
